Don't feel too sorry for James. He didn't learn his lesson. His response to a suggestion about checking the time was "I did not come on holidays to watch the time", yet he booked a holiday that required a schedule as so many other people's holidays were affected by his lack of respect. I'm not crying any tears for James.

You two have such a great sense of humour and I get a really positive feeling that you are both well suited to this vacation together.
I laughed so many times while catching up with you. I can just see you both running like hell to catch that train.....And unless you've been there you can't imagine how big a place and how many platforms you had to deal with. I see that you mentioned your shandies on more than one day......hmmmm......
